Access Control Levels

Access levels in YourFunction

This Tutorial is based on 3 different access levels with each module specificly designed to meet the training requirements of each Access Level.

Access levels assigned to users of YOURFunction control which tasks users can perform in the database.

To access the YourFunction Databases, a Notes user must have the appropriate level of access to the database.

This table shows the user access levels, listed from highest to lowest. Your site will need to define its users

Administer all databases

Perform all tasks allowed by lower access levels

Two people who are responsible for the database. Then if one person is absent, the other can manage the database.
EditorCreate documents

Edit all documents, including those created by others

Read all documents

Any user allowed to create and edit documents in a database.
ReaderRead documentsUsers who only need to read documents in a database but not create or edit documents.
